Canker sores (Aphthous ulcers) or more commonly known as Mouth ulcers are the blisters that are formed inside of the cheeks or lips.They can be painful while brushing your teeth, eating something or drinking something. They are usually harmless and cannot spread from one person to another like other diseases. Usually, they clear up on their own but in some cases, they can be very weird and can take a long time.
There is not a known particular cause of formation of canker sores. They can be caused by any reason that could be stress, consumption of acidic foods, use of dental appliances without proper cleaning or poor health condition of a body.
