Treat your Oily Skin for Good!

Wash your face

Make a schedule to wash your face and follow it strictly. The oily skin can even be more oilier either if you wash it too much or you don’t wash it at all so make a schedule, twice a day when when you wake up and at night before you go to bed are the best suited times.
Use water with proper temperature
Hot water is more capable of decomposing the skin oil as compared to the warm or cold water. So, try to wash your face with warm to hot water, this clears out the excessive oil and then splash once with cold water this closes down the pores clearing the skin for a longer period of time.
Use special soap for oily skin
Don’t use any soap that you can get your hands on to, be specific in your shopping and always try to find the soap that is designed for oily skins. You can either use a soap that bar or a liquid but it should be made for oily skin.
Apple cider vinegar
Vinegar! Though, it might seem scary due to the fragrance but it actually is very good for the oil skin. Directly apply it to your face after washing or you can also dilute it with water and then apply it all over you face. The smell will be there but for a short while, as long as the vinegar is evaporated.
Use tea tree toner
Mix equal parts of water with tea tree oil and apply it your face using cotton swab. This tea tree oil can also be added to your favorite toners but just add a few drops.
Try witch hazel
The facial toner is best being all-natural as it will close your pores up and dry out the excessive oil.It should be applied after the face is washed. A combination of rose water witch hazel is also available in the market best for the similar purpose.
Sea buckthorn seed oil
Sea buckthorn has been used in treatments of skin for so many years now. Take the seed oil and mix it with equal parts of water and apply it on your skin, a few drops can also be added to your favorite toners as well.
Green tea toner
Green tea is full of skin purifying nutrients and antioxidants and is best choice for oily skin. Brew and extra strong cup of the tea and let it cool then apply it to your face tow times daily using cotton ball, after washing.
Toners especially for oily skins
Do not just go for the any toner you can find in the market. Always look for the products that is developed especially for the oily skins. Also make sure that it does not have any added fragrance as it will cause skin irritations.
Sea salt scrub
Mix sea salt with water and form a paste and rub it on your face then rinse it off with warm water. This should only be done once a week.
Oatmeal & aloe exfoliant
Make an exfoliant with this by forming a paste and apply on the skin and rub your face vigorously for a couple of minutes then rinse off then go for the toner.
Coffee grounds exfoliant
This scrub is definitely going to be very tasty-smelling. Take some coffee ground and mix them with honey and apply it to the face for a couple of minutes then rinse off with warm water and go for the toner.
Almond meal scrub
Mix a tablespoon of ground almond and mix it with honey forming a paste and rub it over your face for a couple of minutes and rinse off then apply the toner.
Use baking soda
Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with some water to form paste and rub it on your face for a couple of minutes then rinse of with cold water.
