How To Control Hair fall at HOME?


One of the very common issues we face today is hair fall but we also lack the knowledge and simple remedies that we can adopt to solve this common problem. In this article we are going to discuss some of the best natural remedies that can help you get rid of the hair fall problem once and for all.

There are a number of elements that can play their role and contribute to this problem, for example, genetics, anemia, aging, inadequate intake of protein, stress both emotional and physical, hormonal variations, over-styling, thyroid diseases, prolonged illness, deficiency in folic acid and vitamin B6.


Home remedies


Aloe Vera

You will need a stalk or a leaf of Aloe Vera plant for this traditional treatment used for hair growth. Wash your hair properly then extract the pulp of the stalk or the leaf and rub it into the hair. Massage this pulp in your hair gently and in circular motion and leave it for 15 minutes ad wash away with cold water. Do this thrice a week and in the morning after you bath. Note that the yellow colored sap of the plant is toxic if you are intolerant to latex, in this case case boil the plant and then extract the pulp.


Onion Juice

Extract the juice of an onion after grating it then dip a cotton swab in it and apply directly to your scalp and make sure that the hair strands are covered in it from root to tip. Then leave you hair like this for half an hour and rinse them with cold water and shampoo afterwards. You can do this before your morning bath and repeat it 2 or 3 times per week for at least a month.

Coconut milk

All you need is a cup of coconut milk and apply it on to your scalp using a brush used for hair dyeing and cover you head up with a towel and let it be for 20 minutes approximately. The remove the towel and rinse your hair with cold water and do your favorite shampoo. You can do this in the morning before shampoo and do it weekly.

Indian Gooseberry

Take 4 to 5 Indian Gooseberries and boil them in once cup virgin coconut oil until it turns black and then wait for it to cool. After the oil cools down massage it into your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes and then shampoo. You can do this early in the day before your morning bath and can follow this twice in a week.

 Licorice Root

Greek Yogurt

Take a couple of tablespoons of Greek Yogurt and add a tablespoon of honey and juice of one lemon and mix it to form a paste then apply it onto the scalp and hair roots using hair dye brush and let it be for half an hour then wash with cold water.

Indian Lilac

Boil 10 to 12 leaves of this herb in water till its quantity is reduces to half and wait for the mixture to cool then rinse your hair with it. You can repeat this procedure on weekly basis after shampooing your hair. Be cautious to keep the water out of your eyes as it will cause a burning sensation.


Licorice Root

Take licorice root and grind it, then take one tablespoon of it and a teaspoon of saffron and mix them in a cup of milk thoroughly. Apply this mixture to your head to the bald areas before going to bed daily and leave it overnight. Then wash it next morning you can follow this activity 2 times within a week’s time.



Add some beetroot leaves in water and boil them till the quantity is reduced to half then grind the leaves and add a tablespoon of henna and apply it to your scalp. Wait for 20 minutes then rinse with water and repeat it before taking bath for 3 or 4 times a week.



Soak a cup of Fenugreek seeds in water overnight and grind them next day to form a paste and apply it to your hair from root to top then cover using a towel or a shower cap. Leave it for 40 minutes then rinse with cold water. You can do this daily after bath and for a month.


Chinese Hibiscus

You will need to heat a mixture of about 10 Chinese hibiscus flowers and 2 cups of virgin coconut oil and when the flowers are charred then strain the pulp to collect oil and use this oil on your hair every night and wash them in the morning. You can do this 2 or 3 times a week for the whole month.
